Safe & Responsible Driving Initiative

Protecting Lives Through Prevention, Awareness, and Community Partnership

Program Overview

The Safe & Responsible Driving Initiative exists to help reduce preventable injuries and deaths caused by impaired driving across Williamson County, Texas.

Through education, outreach, and collaboration with local partners including the City of Georgetown and the RideGTX program Samaritans of Texas works to increase awareness of safe transportation options and promote responsible decision-making before tragedy occurs.

Rather than responding after harm happens, this initiative focuses on prevention, visibility, and community awareness to help keep roads safer for everyone.
