About

Samaritans of Texas is built on a simple but powerful mission: to be the hands and feet of Christ in our community—serving the elderly, the hurting, and anyone in need with compassion, dignity, and love.

We are David and Lavonda Walker, native Texans and lifelong believers in Christ, who have been woven into the fabric of our local Georgetown community for nearly two decades. Over the years, we’ve felt an unmistakable calling: to share the gifts, talents, treasures, and knowledge that God has blessed us with to meet the real and urgent needs of others.

Whether we are providing medical care, meals, clothing, prayer, or simply a listening ear, our goal is to walk alongside those who are elderly, abused, homeless, displaced by storms, or facing any hardship—showing them the love and hope of Jesus in tangible ways.

Samaritans of Texas operates as a 100% nonprofit ministry. We rely entirely on grants and the generosity of people like you who believe in making a difference. Every dollar we receive goes directly to supporting those in need—nothing more, nothing less.
