At Samaritans of Texas, transparency is a core value. We believe every donor deserves to know how their generosity is used, who is accountable, and what impact their gift makes in our community.

How Your Donation Is Used

Every donation directly supports our mission to serve individuals and families across Williamson County and Central Texas who are facing crisis, hardship, or instability.

Donations are allocated to the following areas:

Community Support & Outreach

  • Crisis assistance and emergency support

  • Community-based aid and outreach efforts

  • Safety and prevention initiatives

Program Operations

  • Supplies, resources, and logistics

  • Volunteer coordination and training

Administrative & Compliance Costs

  • Insurance and required nonprofit filings

  • Website hosting, donation processing, and communications

We intentionally operate with low overhead so the maximum possible portion of each donation goes directly toward community impact.

Leadership & Compensation

Samaritans of Texas is led by its Founder and Executive Director.

  • Board members serve without compensation

  • Executive compensation (if any) is set in accordance with nonprofit best practices

  • No funds are used for personal enrichment

Our leadership is accountable to our board, our donors, and the community we serve.

Financial Accountability

We are committed to responsible stewardship and ethical financial practices, including:

  • Maintaining accurate and transparent financial records

  • Using donations only for mission-related purposes

  • Complying with all state and federal nonprofit regulations

  • Cooperating fully with required reporting and oversight

Financial information is reviewed internally and is available upon reasonable request.

Tax-Deductible Donations

Samaritans of Texas is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
