🚨 The Hidden Toll: Drunk Driving in Williamson County
A wake-up call—and a call to action—for our community
In the midst of Williamson County’s population boom, one silent crisis is claiming lives and breaking families: drunk and impaired driving. And the numbers are alarming.
Between 2022 and 2024, 36 people were killed and 777 more were injured in alcohol-related crashes on Williamson County roads.
These victims aren’t strangers. They’re sons, daughters, coworkers, and grandparents. They are our neighbors—and they’re being lost in entirely preventable tragedies.
⚠️ The Bigger Picture
- 📈 36 fatalities in just 3 years—more than one death per month.
- 🩹 777 injured—many with life-altering trauma.
- 🚔 Emergency services strained as crashes spike alongside population growth.
As Williamson County grows, road congestion increases, and so does risk. Many of the injured are innocent: children in the backseat, bicyclists, pedestrians on a crosswalk. The cost isn't just medical—it's emotional, spiritual, and generational.
